Shared moments at the 26th Annual EAIE Conference: ‘Stepping into a new era’

 The 26th Annual EAIE Conference took place on September 2014, the EAIE headed to the centre of Europe, to Prague for its 26th Annual EAIE Conference. The theme was ‘Stepping into a new era”, marking the significant transformations of the international education field. More than 4,800 higher education professionals from over 90 countries Professionals from all around the world attended this renowned conference.

These professionals participated in more sessions than ever before, in-depth workshops, high-level dialogues, a range of campus tours and some fabulous networking events. The 26th Annual EAIE Conference has come to its end. All the attendees took home up-to-date knowledge about what internationalisation means for higher education in Central and Eastern Europe, what motivates internationalisation, what impedes it, why the challenges in this region are so different than in other countries throughout the European Higher Education Area, among other important related topics.
